Private practice – not part of the public insurance system
This is a purely private practice. We’re not contracted with Germany’s statutory (public) health insurers, so we can’t bill them. All services are billed under the Gebührenordnung für Ärzte (GOÄ – German physicians’ fee schedule) – to privately insured patients, patients covered by Beihilfe (civil-service health allowance) and self-pay patients.
Value-added tax
Medical services are VAT-exempt under § 4 No. 14 UStG (German VAT Act). If a VAT ID ever becomes necessary, we’ll add it here.
